fixed my George Foreman

Postby zyborg47 » Tue Sep 29, 2009 11:30 pm

I got a Foreman with the griddle on the side, it is about 2 years old now, maybe a little older.

Anyway, I was using it a few days back, and as I lfted the top of the grill, the thing fell off the handle, I got it back on, but it was not great.

Anyway, this evening I took the thing apart and there is a long threaded rod inside that goes though a hole inside, it screws in, so I put it all back together, screwed it all tight and it is all ok now.

Hopefully it will last a little longer, one of the best things in my kitchen.

mine is the one with the Griddle, like this one http://www.georgeforeman.co.uk/Compact_Grill_--_Griddle_qp_20.html but older.

Will get a new one one day, but it works, the new one looks smaller than mine

I cooked some fishcakes in a frying pan last week, only a little bit of oil and chucked them away after a couple of mouthfuls. It seems like the only thing i can eat now that been fried is chips, everything else just turns my stomach.

No idea why, that is why I use my grill.
