So what do people think about Jenson going to McLaren? Also it have been said that Scuey may come back to drive for the Mercedes team.

Could be pretty interesting next year.

I don't think he has any choice, it will make it interesting but I guess Hamilton will be there no 1 driver.

Personally I think Button is making a big mistake, Hamilton is established at McLaren and if Button doesn't come near him competitively I fear that the team will favour Lewis.

TBH I question Jenson's pedigree, if it hadn't been for the early adoption of the rear diffuser I don't think he would have been anywhere near the world title, he was good until the other cars included the newer designed diffuser then he lost ground very quickly and it was only his early wins while other teams were disadvantaged that kept him up there.

Don't get me wrong though I was really happy that he won the title. :)

Cant see him competing with Hamilton if they both have the same car, personally I think Hamilton is a lot more skilled. I have already heard the Mercedes team say the car is built around Lewis.

I think money was a big decider for Jenson despite what he says, cant blame him really.

I think it is going to be very interesting with Jenson and Lewis in the same team and now that Michael Schumacher is going to drive for Merc for at least 12 months, it could be even more interesting. But then again Schumacher may not do anything and may be useless.

I don't like the bloke myself, I still think he is a cheat, good driver maybe, but still a cheat.

It will be interesting to see how it all turns out with no refuelling, they will have to make tires last longer.

I am looking forward to it and hopefully some of the new teams will do well.

Agree completely. Schumacher is an arrogant SOB, personally I hope he falls flat on his face. and doesn't come anywhere, he's had his day. there are some really good drivers climbing the ladder in F1 he should remain in retirement and let the new guys have a go.

I never got into it in the 80''s or the early 90's.

That was better, the race was more interesting, with a bit of over taking, that is what a F1 race should be like.

Good old Button, not sure if he would have won if Vettal did not go out, but i think he would have tried very hard.

yep, I enjoyed it too, could have done with a bit more rain to stir things up a bit though.

Jenson did well to keep those tires for that long, I was waiting for them to go pop.

I suppose a bit more rain would have helped.

Oh well, lets see what next weeks is like.
