I have a feeling the ipod touch is pretty much the same ... main difference being touch isn't a phobe of course and you need to be near wi-fi to use net

I have never been a fan of the iphone, maybe because as a phone it is not that good, compared to other smart phones hardware wise it is rubbish.

Sure the GUI is good and if you like touch phones it is easy to use and yes you can get thousands of apps. Apple was lucky to get to the market when it did, ok others have to play catch up, but there are some good phones out there.

Not that impressed with the Ipod either, very over rated, better Mp3 players out there with far better sound quality.

I have to say I totally disagree with you on this one, I have had loads of different phones the iphone is a league apart it is with out doubt the best gadget I have ever brought. I am not a fan boy of apple and waited at least a year before getting it but I would be lost now without it.

Seconded fellow Iphone brother Jack.

For me its the fact that its not just a phone, making calls is just the start.

That is interesting the only thing I can say is the HTC is more tricky to use all the functions from what a friend told me

Granted, it is a bit more technical, but also a hell of a lot more customisable and upgradable. Its only downfall is the windows Mobile OS (or not depending on whether you like Win' Mob' or not) there is a rumour (and it IS just a rumour) that the next version (HD3?) will have the Android OS which would definitely put it above the iPhone.

Still, as I always say, It's all down to personal preference, one man's devil is another man's angel. ;)

I agree, I like the look of the HTC but I have to say the old iphone is the best phone and computer system I have ever used and like the fact it is very easy to use which is good for me.
