she's a wee bit better today, fever has gone, her temp' is down from 38.6°C to 36.5°C, her throat is still sore and she feels like human excrement but she's getting there :)

So far me and my youngest haven't had any symptoms, but I guess there's still time...

My mother in law is off to Sicily tomorrow. The poo has hit the fan because the sicilians being Sicilians are so scared that they have imposed a self styled quarantine. By not visiting her for 5 days. Shes told them all to get lost

I must admit I am not sure if you would know if it's normal flu or swine flu.

LMFAO

good one, i have my doubts tho, about certain people in HH having bird flu, for a 7 day flu AND 2 day recovery period, they were recovered awfully fast!

And I take it that it was mostly the chavs who don't work anyway so no big impact on the area's economy

Been out of the country for some time with only limited internet access so haven't been able to visit forum

I think this thread should now read 'WHO close to declaring flupandemic at an end...' A considerable amount of money was spent on this which - in the event - did not really materialise as much as the drugs companies would have wished!! I think a lot of 'workers' used it as a means of a few days off work. I mean, off work for three days with 'flu????

Of course, any unnecessary deaths are sad but so they are from road traffic accidents, etc.

Must admit, if you read my previous posts on the subject, that I never really saw it as a greater threat than Seasonal 'Flu.

Welcome back it never seemed to happen but I guess if we did nothing and had it had there would have been a outcry
