limits

Mr dusty type person.
what are your limits in these forums?

I just been banned from Digital spy forum for 24 hours for some silly thing, anyway we have a thread in there going by the name of Ds singles thread, there are a lot of people on there.

we can get a bit rude, a bit flirty and a bit crude, we can also have nice clean conversations.

Now because DS have decided to get a big strange, I was thinking of trying to get the people over here. If they did follow me, your forum would not know what hit it, I can tell you.

But I don't want you handing out bans or warning to people for going a bit over the top. If it comes to the crunch, then I will look at setting up my own forum,

Have a look on Digital spy, in discussion, chatter and the Ds singles thread to see what it is like.

The only problem is that DS forum is a bit more easier to use to post links and pictures and that sort of thing.
Like I still have no idea how I post a image to your forums.

Anyway, have a look, let me know and then I will see if I can get them on here, not promising anything, but we may get some.

Basically no swearing in the public areas that might be viewed by little people (there is an area for that)
the rest is common sense - no spamming / illegal stuff

only way to post pics is to stash them off sit on photobucket then img tag to put the images url into your post

Code: Select all

dusty have changed his name :)

thanks for the reply, so the x files part is pretty rugged, no, that is not the word i am looking for. Ok, no limits as such, ok I know about the illegal stuff, that is normal in all forums and no abuse either, but we do take the mick off each now and again, but it is all fun.

Maybe the way to go I think if I can get them to agree to give it a go,

I will have a chat to them and see.

it will certainly liven up the forum and you got to admit that it is dead in here.

Mal has just a big an input as me on these forums, i concur with what he says as we are like minded regarding these forums. Example i was slagged off on here a while ago from plusnet fanboys. I just gave it as good as i got. We don't like to ban and give many many warnings before we do.

Also we are open to offers on other types of forum topics, but only if a few members request it.

I agree, new people would rekindle my interest in here. Another note, we are not strict but that's not to be confused with pushing it to the limit. use the same boundaries as you would in the real world with strangers. The adult section anything goes as long as it is legal. That is from porn links to dirty jokes.

Probably also worth saying is that the reason this site happened in the first place was because we were all sick of the stupidity and moderation style on another site so a certain sense of deja vu

I was joking about Mal,

it seems like it is not happening anyway, it seems like they have decided to stick with DS, which is a shame. a few more people on here would be good.

The problem with people is that they seem to stick with what they know.

i will try again.
